Murray had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They never let the Cottonwood Colts get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Murray might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by five goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Cottonwood from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Anthony Guerra led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Murray's record now sits at 12-1. As for Cottonwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

Looking ahead, Murray will take on Hillcrest at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cottonwood, they will challenge Layton Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Layton Christian Academy's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
