Soccer Recap: Hephzibah Takes a Loss

Hephzibah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the Westside Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in February.

Hephzibah's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Westside, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8.

Coming up, Hephzibah will host Howard at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hephzibah will be up against Howard's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.27 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Westside, they will head out to face off against Aquinas at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Aquinas is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.1 goals per game this season.
