It was a good run, but Riverdale unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Warren Warriors by a score of 10-9. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Rams, who until this game were averaging 2.93 runs allowed.

Amaya Lopez-Hernandez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-6 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Katie Cox was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5.

Riverdale's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3.

Looking ahead, Riverdale will head out to square off against Sherrard at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Warren does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
