Recap: Blanchester Wildcats vs. Georgetown G-Men
The Blanchester Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 57-41 to Georgetown. Blanchester lost against Georgetown in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 58-49 score last time.
Morgan Preston went supernova for Georgetown, scoring 26 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals. The game was Preston's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Lizzy Cahall, who scored 8 points along with 7 steals and 5 rebounds.
Blanchester's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Georgetown, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blanchester will take on Gamble Montessori at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Georgetown, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Bethel-Tate at 7:00 p.m. on December 4th. Bethel-Tate and Georgetown are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
