Baseball Recap: Jennings County Find Success

While Jennings County's victory against South Dearborn wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Knights 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted against the Knights since May 5, 2015.

The team relied heavily on Wyatt Meade, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Zane Weinhorst was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

The victory made it two in a row for Jennings County and bumps their season record up to 7-7. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games.
