Basketball Recap: Deer Valley Wolverines vs. Freedom Falcons
Deer Valley lost against Freedom back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Deer Valley Wolverines lost to the Freedom Falcons at home by a 77-59 margin. The Wolverines were down 65-45 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Defeat or not, Deer Valley got some senior leadership from Carter Williams and Dominic Dolojan. Williams almost dropped a double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds, while Dolojan posted 14 points along with five boards and four steals. The dominant performance gave Dolojan a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Lucas Vazquez, who earned nine points.
Deer Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-21 record this season. As for Freedom, their win bumped their record up to 10-16.
