Volleyball Recap: Covenant Christian Takes a Loss

Covenant Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wilson Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Covenant Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Wilson, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-7.

Covenant Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Loretto on the 13th. As for Wilson, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against East Limestone on the 13th.
