Oak Creek came out on top against Racine Case on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run second inning. The Knights put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won 11 matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Claire Mank was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run was her first of the season. Rita Sippy was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Oak Creek lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

The win (which was Oak Creek's third in a row) raised their record to 16-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Racine Case, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Coincidentally, Oak Creek and Racine Case will both be playing Kenosha Bradford the next time they take the field. The Knights will head out to face the Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
