Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Plainfield East's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were beaten by Plainfield South 64-36. The game marked the Bengals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Joliet West's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Plainfield East, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
