            Football Recap: Rogue River Chieftains vs. Lost River Raiders        
        
		
        
        
            
Rogue River had lost seven straight on the road dating back to last season, but  on Friday they dropped down to 2-4 to make it eight. They were beaten by the Lost River Raiders 51-6. The  contest marked the Chieftains' lowest-scoring  matchup so far this season.
As for Lost River, the  victory was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1. That 45 point margin sets a new team best for them this season.
 Lost River's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Eugene Dunlea, who rushed for 208 yards and one  TD on only 11 carries, and also caught one  touchdown. With that strong performance,  Dunlea is now averaging an impressive 109.8  rushing yards per game. Another signal caller making a difference was  Kyle Diaz, who threw for 80 yards and four  touchdowns.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rogue River is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Illinois Valley  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Lost River will  face off against  rival Bonanza  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
