Parma had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Melba Mustangs with a sharp  15-4 win. Considering the Panthers have won nine matchups by more than eight  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Maya Jensen was a major factor no matter where she played. She  struck out ten batters over  five innings while giving up  four earned runs off   five  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news, Parma got a  massive  performance out of  Lakota Leppert, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4. What's more,  Leppert posted two  doubles, the most she's  had since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Abby Anderson, who  went 1-for-3 with one  home run and three  RBI.
Parma pushed their record up to 11-2 with the  victory, which was their tenth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Melba, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Parma will  square off against  rival Vision  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Melba is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Marsing  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
