 Bullard won the last time they faced Madera, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Bullard Knights walked away with  a   5-1  victory over the Madera Coyotes. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Bullard.
  Emily Hinchey spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up nine Ks.
 At the plate,  Juju Martinez was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.  Chrissa Canel was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
 Bullard pushed their record up to 12-6 with that  win, which was their sixth straight  at home. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 6.8 runs per game. As for Madera, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7-1.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bullard will  square off against Edison at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average, (Edison: 3.6, Bullard: 2.8) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for Madera, they will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against San Joaquin Memorial at 3:30  p.m. Madera is facing San Joaquin Memorial at the right time seeing as San Joaquin Memorial is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
