Frankton is a perfect 9-0 against Blackford since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles will take on the Bruins at 5:30 p.m. Frankton hasn't scored more than a single run for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Frankton managed to slip by Madison-Grant the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles came up short against the Argylls on Tuesday, falling 7-1.

Meanwhile, Blackford hadn't done well against Wapahani recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Bruins blew past the Raiders 8-0. The Bruins not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 16, 2024 (when they won 10-0).

Frankton's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Blackford, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.

Frankton took their win against Blackford when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 8-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
