Basketball Recap: Preston Kreman's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Sioux County over Crawford

Sioux County lost against Crawford back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Sioux County Warriors received a blow as they fell 48-31 to the Crawford Rams. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sioux County lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Preston Kreman, who posted 12 points and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Kreman a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Monroe, who put up seven points and 13 rebounds.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crawford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Taylor Homan, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 boards. Another player making a difference was Rhett Flack, who had 12 points and six assists.

Sioux County's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Crawford, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Sioux County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 42-38 win against Banner County on the 7th. As for Crawford, they will face off against Edgemont at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
