Volleyball Recap: Shakamak Lakers vs. Riverton Parke Panthers

If Shakamak was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of North Central on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lakers fell just short of the Riverton Parke Panthers by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lakers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Shakamak took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-20, 23-25, 25-12, 15-12.
