Pahrump Valley is 2-8 against Boulder City since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Trojans will host the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. Pahrump Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.

Pahrump Valley is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 16 runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against Boulder City on Tuesday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

For Boulder City's part, Tate Crine spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up six Ks. Crine also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Eagles are undefeated when he allows at most two earned runs, but 10-11 otherwise.

At the plate, Steven Uszynski was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Colten Lewis was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Boulder City's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-12. As for Pahrump Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-8-1.

Pahrump Valley's speedy runners might be the difference in Thursday's matchup. The Trojans have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.6 stolen bases per game.
