Basketball Recap: Monument/Dayville Comes Up Short

Monument/Dayville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 40-23 to Prairie City/Burnt River. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 43-11 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Monument/Dayville's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Prairie City/Burnt River, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Monument/Dayville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Prairie City/Burnt River, they will venture away from home to square off against Crane at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
