Hempfield and Warwick are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2021, but likely not for long. The Black Knights will venture away from home to square off against the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Monday, Hempfield didn't have quite enough to beat Manheim Township and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Warwick had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They never let the Comets get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Given Warwick's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 15th, while Penn Manor are ranked 232nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Warwick's win bumped their record up to 12-1-1. As for Hempfield, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Hempfield came up short against Warwick in their previous meeting two weeks ago, falling 2-0. Can the Black Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
