Tularosa barely beat Estancia the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Tularosa not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Estancia between 15 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-17.

Leading Tularosa to victory were Jaleria Caje and Tamara Chavez. Caje had four digs and two aces, while Chavez had six digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Chavez a new career-high.

Tularosa's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Estancia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Tularosa has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against West Las Vegas on the 20th. As for Estancia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Navajo Prep on the 19th.
