Basketball Recap: Freeport's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

Freeport came into Friday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the East Allegheny Wild Cats by a score of 55-44 on Friday. The Yellowjackets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wild Cats, too.

Freeport's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10. As for East Allegheny, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freeport will welcome Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Freeport is facing Valley at the right time seeing as Valley is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for East Allegheny, they will face off against Greensburg Salem at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
