Baseball Recap: Frazier's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Frazier extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 7-5 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the California Trojans. For the Commodores, this counts as revenge for the 12-11 victory the Trojans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.

As for California, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6-2. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs.

For California's part, Weston Monticelli spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up eight Ks. Monticelli also tossed a walk, which is notable because the Trojans are 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 2-5-2 otherwise.

Frazier will have a chance to go back-to-back against California: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
