Basketball Recap: The Master's Academy Falls to Legacy Charter in First Game of Season + How To Watch

The Master's Academy had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 68-61 to Legacy Charter. The result was an unpleasant reminder to The Master's Academy of the 62-57 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Legacy Charter got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Khori Polarchy out in front who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 13 boards. Those 13 rebounds gave Polarchy a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Theron Waters, who went 6-for-8 on his way to 12 points and eight boards.

The Master's Academy has already played their next contest, a 66-63 win against Astronaut on the 21st. As for Legacy Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 86-65 victory against Foundation Academy on the 20th.
