Volleyball Recap: Braddock Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Braddock waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hialeah Thoroughbreds.

Braddock walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-10, 25-18.

Leading Braddock to victory were Daniel Fleitas and Adrian Martin. Fleitas had five aces and four digs, while Martin had 25 assists and four aces. Those five aces gave Fleitas a new career-high.

Braddock couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 48.9% of their attack attempts. That's the best hitting percentage they've posted all season.

Braddock's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-12. As for Hialeah, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Braddock and Hialeah are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Bulldogs will challenge Homestead at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hialeah, they will face off against Hialeah-Miami Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
