Baseball Recap: Ellington Gets the Win

Ellington had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 14-run drubbing they dealt Windsor Locks on Tuesday. The Knights never let the Raiders get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Chase Thomas was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxson Dumond, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

Ellington always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Windsor Locks only posted an OBP of .118.

Ellington's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Windsor Locks, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
