San Tan Charter skates past Leading Edge Academy - GEC with ease

In what's become a running theme this season, the San Tan Charter Roadrunners gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They blew past Leading Edge Academy - GEC 78-45 on the road. The win was nothing new for San Tan Charter as they're now sitting on 11 straight.

Peyton Lubash continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with five assists. He hasn't dropped below 15points for nine straight games. Zaire Richardson was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with five rebounds and two steals.

When it comes to explaining why Leading Edge Academy - GEC lost, one person who can't be blamed is Amani Francisco. Despite the final result, he scored ten points along with two steals. Francisco has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Sutherland, who scored nine points.

San Tan Charter has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season. As for Leading Edge Academy - GEC, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Tan Charter will challenge Gilbert Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gilbert Classical Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 226th, while San Tan Charter is ranked 37th). As for Leading Edge Academy - GEC, they will head out on the road to challenge San Carlos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
