Softball Recap: Enterprise Comes Up Short

Enterprise took on Loyd Star. in a bug-themed battle on Friday. Enterprise fell just short of Loyd Star by a score of 5-3. If the Yellowjackets were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Hornets when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Enterprise saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rainee Falvey, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Isabella Jordan also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Enterprise has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. Loyd Star has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Enterprise has already played their next contest (against Taylorsville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Loyd Star, they have already played their next matchup, an 8-2 win against Bogue Chitto on the 25th.
