Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cuba-Rushford). They never let the Hinsdale Central Bobcats get on the board and left with a 24-0 victory on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Rebels with their most commanding win of the season.

Cuba-Rushford now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Hinsdale Central, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Cuba-Rushford will welcome Genesee Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with the Rebels sitting on three straight wins and the Jaguars on five. As for Hinsdale Central, they will take on Andover at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14 runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
