Triad Math and Science Academy won the last time they faced Carver and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bengals put the hurt on the Yellowjackets with a sharp 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Triad Math and Science Academy took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-12, 25-15.

Noelle Bennett paced Triad Math and Science Academy's offense, picking up four kills. Bennett really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with four. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 13 aces.

The victory got Triad Math and Science Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Carver, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Triad Math and Science Academy will venture away from home to square off against Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carver, they will head out to face off against North Forsyth at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
