Volleyball Recap: Holly Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Holly challenged McClave on Friday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Cardinals. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost eight in a row.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-10, 25-6.

Holly's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for McClave, their victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Holly will square off against Cheyenne Wells at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McClave, they will face off against Del Norte at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
