Basketball Game Preview: White County Warriors vs. Lumpkin County Indians

White County is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Lumpkin County is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Warriors will welcome the Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

White County is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Greater Atlanta Christian just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 51-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Warriors have suffered since December 22, 2025.

Meanwhile, Lumpkin County was able to grind out a solid win over Chestatee on Tuesday, taking the game 58-51.

White County's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Lumpkin County, their victory bumped their record up to 16-8.

White County won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in January, slipping by Lumpkin County 40-39. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
