Volleyball Recap: Robinson Extends Winning Streak to Six

Robinson had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the North Central Thunderbirds. That's more bragging rights for the Maroons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Robinson was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12.

Grace Miller paced Robinson's offense, picking up six kills. Miller got some help from Wren Bonnell and her five assists. Bonnell also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sicily Rawlings, racking up four apiece.

Robinson's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for North Central, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Robinson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Oblong on the 6th. As for North Central, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against West Vigo at 6:30 p.m.
