Our Lady of Good Counsel came tearing into Monday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Bishop Ireton Cardinals. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cardinals, too.

Our Lady of Good Counsel pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 runs across that stretch. As for Bishop Ireton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Our Lady of Good Counsel will square off against rival Elizabeth Seton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bishop Ireton is set to challenge their familiar foe Bishop McNamara at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
