Football Game Recap: Bluestone vs. Nottoway

Nottoway kept a clean sheet against Bluestone on Friday. Nottoway was fully in charge, breezing past Bluestone 59-0. With the Cougars ahead 28 to nothing at the half, the game was all but over already.

The victory makes it two in a row for Nottoway and bumps their record up to 7-2. Bluestone is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Nottoway will be playing in front of their home fans against Buckingham at 7 p.m. ET next week. After both of those teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune. As for the Barons, they will go up against Goochland at 7 p.m. ET. The Barons have seen their point totals decreasing over the past four games, a vulnerability Goochland is surely hoping to exploit.
