Chelsea won the last time they faced Ypsilanti and things went their way on Friday too. The Chelsea Bulldogs snuck past the Ypsilanti Grizzlies with a 57-52 victory. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 397th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chelsea is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points over those games. As for Ypsilanti, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
