Effingham entered their tilt with Robinson on Saturday with nine consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with ten. They blew past the Maroons 8-2. Considering the Hearts have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Effingham pushed their record up to 19-6 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Robinson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season.

Effingham will welcome Teutopolis at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Robinson, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-0 win against North Central on the 10th.
