There's no place like home for Columbus Grove, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Arlington Red Devils on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Columbus Grove never let Arlington on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 25-23.

Aubrey Schroeder paced Columbus Grove's offense, picking up 12 kills. Schroeder got some help from Elyse Fortman and her 27 assists. Lydia Sarka and Hailey Mertz kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

The victory got Columbus Grove back to even at 1-1. As for Arlington, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbus Grove will venture away from home to challenge Elida at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Arlington, they will head out to face off against Cory-Rawson at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday.
