Volleyball Recap: Oakman Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Oakman lost against Hamilton back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Aggies. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wildcats have suffered since October 16, 2024.

While Oakman ultimately came up short, they really made Hamilton work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 27-25, 25-20.

Kelly Simpson paced Oakman's offense, picking up eight kills. Simpson got some help from Annleigh Hagood and her 17 assists. Simpson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

This is the second loss in a row for Oakman and nudges their season record down to 1-6. As for Hamilton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

While Oakman had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
