Soccer Game Preview: Hersey vs. Hinsdale Central

The Hersey Huskies will take on the Hinsdale Central Red Devils in a tournament on Tuesday. Hersey's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Hersey's tournament run continued when they took on Geneva on Monday. The Huskies and the Vikings finished up their game with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Hinsdale Central waltzed into their match on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Their defense stepped up to hand the Eagles a 2-0 shutout. Hinsdale Central's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

Adriana Giannini and Avery Edgewater scored both of Hinsdale Central's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Hinsdale Central's win bumped their record up to 5-3. With that draw, Hersey's record moves to 3-5-2.
