The Community Christian Cyclones will head out on the road to take on the Lee Christian Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lee Christian took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Community Christian, who comes in off a win.

Community Christian is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of North Carolina's top teams: Sandhills Classical Christian, who was ranked seventh at the time (Community Christian was ranked eighth). The Cyclones put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 62-40 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Cyclones, who have now won six games by 22 points or more so far this season.

Stephen Edwards produced another solid performance rushing for 175 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per carry, and also picking up 116 receiving yards and one TD. Another player making a difference was Jack Beamon, who threw for 224 yards and a pair of TDs on only 16 passes.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 46 points the game before, Lee Christian was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were beaten by Father Capodanno 64-13. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Grunts: they've now lost four in a row.

The victory made it two in a row for Community Christian and bumps their season record up to 9-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points over those games. As for Lee Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Everything came up roses for Community Christian against Lee Christian in their previous meeting back in August, as the squad secured a 66-14 victory. In that matchup, the Cyclones amassed a halftime lead of 46-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
