The Northern Burlington Greyhounds's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 68-44 defeat at the hands of Burlington Township. Northern Burlington has not had much luck with Burlington Township recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Leading Burlington Township to victory were Baron Davis and Quayd Hendryx. Davis scored 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Hendryx scored 15 points along with four steals. Hendryx has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Isiah N'diaye was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds.

Northern Burlington's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Burlington Township, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northern Burlington and Westampton Tech will face off at 3:45 p.m. on January 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Westampton Tech focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday. Burlington Township and Holy Cross will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Holy Cross is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
