Softball Recap: Mountain View Bruins vs. Orem Tigers
Mountain View lost to Orem on April 13th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bruins came up short against the Tigers, falling 12-3. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Camille Stoddard was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
Stoddard wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Lucy Clark, who went 2-for-4 with one double.
Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Orem, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.
As of now, neither Mountain View nor Orem have any future games scheduled.
