Fauster Johnson leads a balanced attack to beat Shadow Mountain

Recap: Arizona College Prep Knights vs. Shadow Mountain Matadors
The Arizona College Prep Knights won the last time they faced the Shadow Mountain Matadors, and things went their way on Thursday too. Arizona College Prep blew past Shadow Mountain 58-37. Given Arizona College Prep's advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 71st, while Shadow Mountain is ranked 305th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Arizona College Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Fauster Johnson led the charge by scoring 13 points along with five steals. The contest was Johnson's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Neill, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Arizona College Prep and bumps their season record up to 11-3. As for Shadow Mountain, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Arizona College Prep will head out on the road to face off against Flowing Wells at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Flowing Wells is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Shadow Mountain will be home for the holidays to greet Cactus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
