Cox Mill has gone a perfect 9-0 against Mooresville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Chargers will square off against the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. Cox Mill will be strutting in after a win while Mooresville will be coming in after a defeat.

Cox Mill took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 45-38 victory over Mount Pleasant. The win continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Elizabeth Radack and Madison Alexander were among the main playmakers for Cox Mill as the former posted 12 points and eight rebounds and the latter went 6-for-13 on her way to 12 points and five boards. Radack also put up two blocks, which were her first of the season.

Cox Mill smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Meanwhile, Mooresville came up short against Lake Norman Charter on Friday and fell 53-46. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mooresville's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Cox Mill, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Cox Mill beat Mooresville 53-43 when the teams last played back in January. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Blue Devils' Lilly Rumrill, who earned 21 points. Now that she won't be playing on Tuesday, will it be easier for the Chargers to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
