Soccer Game Preview: Gray's Creek vs. Willow Spring

The Gray's Creek Bears will head out to take on the Willow Spring Storm at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Gray's Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.4 goals per game this season.

On Tuesday, Gray's Creek didn't have quite enough to beat Jack Britt and fell 3-2.

Ziara Brunson wasn't going to let the Buccaneers walk away unscathed as she scored both of the Bears' goals, bringing her season total up to 27 goals.

Meanwhile, after a string of 13 wins, Willow Spring's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. Neither they nor Fuquay - Varina could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result kept Willow Spring happy, as they haven't lost a game since March 3rd.

Willow Spring's draw gives them a new season record of 16-2-3. As for Gray's Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7-1.
