Football Recap: Lancaster Comes Up Short

Lancaster's last matchup with Canal Winchester could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Golden Gales were outmatched by the Indians and fell 42-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Golden Gales were not able to get on the board.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Jamari Snow and Toreion Brooks. Snow rushed for 103 yards and one TD while Brooks rushed for 70 yards and one score on only six carries. That's the most rushing yards Brooks has posted since back in September of 2024.

Lancaster's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Canal Winchester, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.
