Softball Game Preview: Clinton Red Devils vs. Fairfield Central Griffins

For the second straight game, Clinton will face off against Fairfield Central. The Red Devils will be playing at home against the Griffins at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Clinton has five straight wins, Fairfield Central has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Clinton's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Fairfield Central with a sharp 16-0 victory. Considering the Red Devils have won nine matchups by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Fairfield Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Clinton, their win bumped their record up to 11-4.
