Basketball Game Preview: LaGrange Grangers vs. Upson-Lee Knights

The LaGrange Grangers will take on the Upson-Lee Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. LaGrange has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

LaGrange is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Riverdale to the tune of 57-15 on Saturday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Grangers with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Upson-Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-43 heartbreaker at the hands of Taylor County. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 335th, while the Vikings are ranked 102nd).

LaGrange's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Upson-Lee, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
