Basketball Recap: Penn Wood Takes a Loss

Penn Wood lost against Chester back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Penn Wood Patriots took a 65-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chester Clippers. While the Patriots didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Clippers 21-13 in the first quarter.

Penn Wood now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Chester, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.

Penn Wood will venture away from home to take on Conestoga at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Chester, they will square off against West Philadelphia at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Chester has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 238 points over their last three games.
