 West Mifflin scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Woodland Hills Wolverines  a   17-0 shutout. West Mifflin might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five matchups by nine  runs or more this season.
  Rylie Dobnak was a major factor no matter where she played. She  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and not a single walk). Dobnak was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-2.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Aubrey Jaskulski, who  went 2-for-2 with a  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Lia Salopek, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-1.
 West Mifflin now  has a winning record of 7-6. As for Woodland Hills, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Mifflin will take on McKeesport at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams have allowed few  runs on average, (McKeesport: 3.8, West Mifflin: 2.5) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for Woodland Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Knoch at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Knoch's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8  runs per game  this season, so Woodland Hills' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
