After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Yorktown, Northeastern was happy to have turned things around  on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Tri Titans as they made off with  a  14-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won seven games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
The team  relied heavily on  Blake Waters, who  went 1-for-3 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Gavin Johnson, who  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
 Northeastern  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters  in six consecutive  matchups.
Northeastern has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Tri,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-12-1.
 Northeastern didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  an  8-3  victory against Blue River Valley on the 9th. As for Tri, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  match,  a  13-9  win against Anderson Prep Academy on the 8th.
